A step-by-step beginner’s guide to using your Turpone Ronzio 12" rotating pizza oven. In this short tutorial, we walk you through everything you need to know to cook the perfect pizza.

Turn on your pizza oven
Before cooking your pizza, you will need to turn on your pizza oven to allow it to preheat to sufficient temperatures.  Turn on your pizza oven to full heat for approximately 20 minutes to allow it to reach 950F.

Prepare your pizza
While you preheat your oven, take the time to prepare your pizza.

Use an infrared thermometer to check the temperature of the stone
Using an infrared thermometer allows you to accurately read the temperature of your oven. The way to do this is to point the thermometer directly at the center of the baking stone

Lower the oven temperature
Once the pizza oven reaches a temperature of 950F, lower the temperature.

Stop the rotating stone
Make sure to stop the rotating baking stone before you launch your pizza into the oven.

Adjust the temperature accordingly
After placing your pizza in the oven, adjust the temperature according to your preference. Once the edges of the pizza begin to blacken, stop the stone and remove the pizza.

Extra tip
If you are cooking multiple pizzas, be sure to keep the pizza oven turned on at maximum heat in between pizzas.
