Please read our FAQs page to find out more.

How is the pizza stone installed?

Simply put the pizza stone in the center mechanism matching the hole with the hexagonal piece molded to the stone.

How long does it take to cook a pizza on a pizza stone?

It takes between 1-3 minutes to cook your pizza once it's been placed onto a pizza stone. Weather can have an impact, and elements such as wind, can lengthen cooking time.

How do I clean and maintain a pizza stone after use?

The pizza stone should be cleaned only with a brush. If you must wash the pizza stone, use light dish soap and water.
View our cleaning guide for more information.

How long does it take to preheat a pizza stone properly?

We recommend pre-heating your pizza oven at full temperature for a minimum of 20 minutes before you launch your pizza.

Do you put dough directly onto your pizza stone?

Yes, for the best results, place your pizza dough directly onto your pizza stone. For an easier launch, and to prevent sticking, lightly flour your pizza peel prior to launching your pizza into the pizza oven.

Is it safe to put a pizza stone in the dishwasher?

No. We would not recommend that you put your pizza stone in the dishwasher.

Do you need to oil a pizza stone?

Our pizza baking stones are made from cordierite, meaning they are porous and absorb liquids. As a result, we do not recommend oiling your stone, or washing it with any type of liquid.

Do pizzas cook faster on a pizza stone?

Yes, pizzas cook faster on a pizza stone. This is because you can preheat your pizza stone to very high temperatures and your pizza stone will absorb and retain the heat, transferring it quickly to your pizza dough, creating a crispier, faster-cooked crust.

Should I leave the pizza stone in the oven when stored?

Yes, the pizza stone can be left out in all environments. However, pizza stones do not react well to sudden temperature changes. If it's cold outside, a gradual preheat on Minimum to start would be ideal to not create any stress fractures.

I broke my pizza stone. What do I do?

If your pizza stone is covered in your warranty, we will replace it free of charge. If not, the stone can be purchased through our website.
